Beneath the surface of fragility lies a quiet yet powerful force—transformation, and with it the promise of unexplored beauty and wonder.

Veil of Renewal is an exploration of human vulnerability and resilience, where exquisite beauty is revealed in the most unexpected places. Created in partnership with the Zahra Breast Cancer Association, the collection serves to both honor and embody the strength and resilience of women living with breast cancer.

Throughout Veil of Renewal, iridescent colors, sublime hand-applied detailing and mesmeric form call to mind the image of the elusive dragonfly, a familiar symbol of self-realization and transformation. Swathes of emerald green, burnished gold and azure silks inspire boldness while intricate beading, exquisitely latticed like a dragonfly’s wings, expresses the delicate balance between fragility and power.

Gossamer-thin pink, coral and sage chiffon fall around the wearer as capes and voluminous, inverted silhouettes. Precise laser cut petals and artfully hand-stitched floral appliqué capture the ethereal beauty of the lotus—a flower whose pristine beauty belies its bleak origins in dark waters.

This evocative image of resilience is reflected elsewhere in billowing crepe and organza sculptures that enshroud the wearer like rushing water. Meticulously sculpted by hand using innovative fabric manipulation techniques, these dreamlike shapes symbolize the limitless power of self- transformation.

Within the collection, two gowns further embody the House’s dedication to social responsibility and female empowerment. Designed to honor those living with breast cancer, scores of shimmering beads and vibrant floral embroidery form symbolic lotus motifs at the bust-line. The beauty of these dresses lies not only in the exquisite detail but in the compassion woven with every stitch.
